Mr Mishra is the Principal Investigator for the TARVA trial at Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals. He completed higher surgical training in Orthopaedics on Manchester rotation including a one year fellowship training in Foot and Ankle surgery at Wrightington Hospital. During his fellowship he participated in research on ankle replacement surgery and published the results. Mr Mishra took up the post of Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at Hull in April 2007. He is also Senior Clinical Tutor at Hull and York Medical school, with a keen interest in teaching, training, and research. He is presently involved in national research trials on Tendoachilles rupture and ankle replacement surgery outcomes.
Mr Mishra is an active member of several regional and national surgical societies. He sub-specializes in foot, ankle and knee surgery and has particular interest in joint replacement and deformity correction/ complex reconstruction surgery.
